Just because people are homeless doesn't mean they have to trash where they camp. Maybe if they'd clean up after themselves people wouldn't be so anti-homeless camps. I have nothing against the homeless setting up a camp but I hate that they trash our environment.

No one person can care for that many animals properly. No one. He's 91, what happens to the animals when he dies? Animal hoarders can never be convinced they're doing anything wrong. Shameful.

Sexual abuse can be made to stop. However, dead is forever, and only eliminates one part of the equation. A living witness is powerful.

Kelso has a downtown? Really?

I'm wondering what the real reason is that Hart needs to know these names. To know just to know? To share with all and sundry? This has happened in other U.S. cities, where a citizen or citizens get hold of the names of registered sex offenders and murder has been the result. Sometimes it's …

Sex offenders at any level have not touched any part of life, thank goodness, but I am vehemently against what Hart is wanting to do. If his request is granted and he publishes his shame list, we will have much more strife and even violence in our community than we already do. Do we really n…

I can't even imagine what that driver's life from now on is going to be like - knowing she killed her parents and one of her children. Or someone else's child. If the troopers say "likely" distracted driving that probably means they think she was on her cell phone. Easy enough to …

A leash law for parks? That's all well and good but doesn't go nearly far enough. What about just walking down a sidewalk and encountering someone with an unleashed, aggressive dog? Where is our protection? The article says that a leash law is unenforceable but I disagree. Nearly everyone ha…

Just who was abusing whom here? An 87 lb. ball of rage can do a lot of damage in a class of smaller kids, if not controlled somehow. They were isolating him for the good of everyone, not tasing him. There is something wrong in his brain and it's not going to get better or go away. He is a …

Imagine an 87-lb. (in primary school yet) running amok with rage. Is that who you want around your own primary school children? Are adults even safe with him running loose? Who knows what kind of harm he could do if not contained. If he's that full of rage now, what's he going to be like as …
