The Kelso boys golf team beat Battle Ground 169-180 at 3 Rivers Golf Course on Monday.

Trevor Hooper shot a 41, with the second half of his round played in the rain, while teammate Kaden Martin shot a 41. Riley Kirk and Gunnar Burke each shot matching 43s.

Kelso is at the Hudson Invite on Tuesday, then hosts for Vancouver on Thursday at 3 p.m.

Woodland 167, Columbia River 172: Dane Huddleston and Gaige Pilot both shot 38s and Logan Autrey shot a 42 as Woodland edged the Chieftans on Monday at Lewis River.

Donovan Hix added a 49 for the Beavers. River’s Ryan Snyder was medalist with a 35.

Woodland is at the Hudson Invite at Tri-Mountain on Tuesday, then is off for a week when it visits La Center, again at Tri-Mountain.

Ridgefield 155, R.A. Long 185: Jay Nickerson carded a 38 for the Jacks in the loss at Mint Valley. Noah Gilchrist turned in a 41, Hewson Ngyuen shot a 46 and Wayne Keegan a 60.

R.A. Long is back on the course on Thursday at Hockinson at Cedars.
