TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Josh Sborz struck Tyler Ramirez out with the bases loaded to end the game, leading the Tulsa Drillers to a 6-4 win over the Midland RockHounds on Monday.
Tulsa started the scoring in the second inning when Keibert Ruiz hit a two-run home run.
Trailing 6-1, the RockHounds cut into the deficit with three runs in the ninth inning, including a double by Sean Murphy that scored Tyler Marincov.
Brian Moran (1-0) went two innings, allowing one run and three hits while striking out five to pick up the win. Joel Seddon (1-1) went 4 2/3 innings, allowing six runs and 10 hits in the Texas League game. He also struck out four and walked one.
Will Smith doubled and singled twice, scoring two runs in the win. Ruiz homered twice, driving home four runs and scoring a couple.
Murphy homered and doubled, scoring a couple of runs while also driving home two for the RockHounds.
