Myah Bodily tossed a two-hitter with two strikeouts, and helped herself at the plate with two hits as the R.A. Long Lumberjills claimed a 16-0 victory in four innings over Washougal in Greater St. Helens 2A League softball on Monday in Washougal.

Bodily also had two RBIs and scored three runs. Also for RAL (5-4, 1-1 league), Cassidy Donaldson was 2-4 with a home run and four RBIs, Hope Childers was 2-4, and McKinzie Todd had a double, an RBI and scored three runs. Miranda Berquist had a double and two RBIs, and Kenna Kolbaba scored four times.

Winlock 19, Mossyrock 16 (10 innings): Sabrena Barragan slapped a two-run single, Raychel Squibb had an RBI double, and Addison Hall had an RBI single in the 10th inning as the Cardinals prevailed in a Central 2B League game on Monday in Mossyrock.

Winlock (5-4, 3-4 league) had 25 hits. Squibb was 5-6 with three doubles, four stolen bases, four runs and two RBIs, Madison Lofberg was 4-5 with a double, five runs and three RBIs, and Karlie Jones was 4-7 with two doubles and four runs. Makayla Albritton was 3-7 with a double and two RBIs, Hall was 3-4 with three runs, two stolen bases and four RBIs, Barragan was 3-6 with four RBIs, and Piper Low was 3-5 with three RBIs.

Squibb started and allowed six earned runs on three hits and four strikeouts through two innings, and Karlie Jones gave up six earned runs on 10 hits with six strikeouts through eight innings.

Winlock hosts Kalama for a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Ducks sweep Toledo: Toutle Lake’s Katelyn Redmill was a combined 6-8 with three extra-base hits as the Ducks won 14-10 in the opener and 20-6 in the five-inning nightcap of a Central 2B League doubleheader on Monday in Toutle.

In the opener, Redmill was 3-4 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs. Jasmine Smith was 3-4 with two runs and an RBI, Kaylee Florek was 2-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI, Jordyn Grabenhorst was 2-4 with three RBIs, and Kendal Bennett added a double. Smith struck out three in the complete-game win.

For Toledo, Kyleigh Holmes was 3-4 with a home run and three RBIs, Gracie Madill was 3-4, Adrian Murphy was 2-3 with a double and two runs, Hailey Beecroft was 2-4 with two runs scored, Genevive Kalista was 2-3, and Haleigh Holmes scored two runs and had two RBIs.

In the nightcap, Redmill was 3-4 with two doubles and three runs. Florek was 4-4 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs, Grabenhorst was 2-3 with a triple, double, three runs and three RBIs, and Keeley Studebaker-Smith was 3-5 with a double and five RBIs. Smith was 2-5 with a double and two runs, Sydney Hald was 2-4 with two runs, Casey Wentz had a triple, two RBIs and scored three runs, and Sienna Rudd had two RBIs and three runs. Florek gave up five hits and five runs in two-thirds of an inning, and Smith twirled 4 1/3 innings of one-hit relief with three strikeouts.

On Wednesday, TL (9-2, 7-1 league) hosts Wahkiakum, and Toledo (3-8, 2-6 league) visits Mossyrock.

Mountain View 2, Kelso 0: The Lassies were no-hit in a Greater St. Helens 3A League game on Monday at Tam O’Shanter Park.

“Their pitcher (Sydney Brown) threw well with a wet ball,” Kelso coach Dean Sorensen said. “She threw a lot of changes and rise balls.”

Kelso (4-4, 2-1 league) hosts Evergreen today at Tam O’Shanter Park.


Naselle 17, Mary M. Knight 0 (3 innings): Ethan Lindstrom was 3-3 with two doubles and four RBIs, and tossed two scoreless innings with five strikeouts as the Comets won a Coastal 1B League game on Monday in Matlock, Wash.

Also for the Comets (8-3, 5-0 league), Daniel Holt tossed a scoreless inning of relief. Kolten Lindstrom was 2-2 with a double and two RBIS, and Josh Townsen was 2-2 with an RBI.

Naselle hosts Oakville on Thursday.

Mossyrock 20, Winlock 6 (5 innings): Nathan Suhrbier was 2-3 with two runs and an RBI for the Cardinals in a nonleague loss on Monday in Mossyrock.

Also for Winlock (0-7), Kaden Harrington was 1-2 with two RBIs and a run scored, and KK Hinton was 1-3 with a run and an RBI.

“Kaden started and pitched well,” Winlock coach Jordan Nailon said. “He really kept his composure.”

Winlock plays Kalama at Woodland today.


Astoria Invitational: Ilwaco tallied 90 Stableford points to take fourth place in the tournament held Monday at the Astoria Country Club.

Valley Catholic won the team title ahead of seven other teams with 196 points.

For Ilwaco, Gabby Bell had 27, Faith Richardson and Maggie Jacobson each had 23, and Sunny Kemmer had 17.
