With the 2019 football season finally wrapped up, the Associated Press released their 2019 AP All-State football teams list. Nine local players made the list.

From the 3A class, Kelso senior, Josh Webb made first team Linebacker.

In 1A, junior Wyatt Partridge from Castle Rock made the first team for running backs.

On the honorable Mentions for the 1A class, senior Landon Garnder for Castle Rock was on the defensive line list.

Jackson Esary, sophomore, and Bryan Sparks, senior, both made the honorable Mentions in the 2B class. From Kalama, Esary made the quarterback list. Sparks, from Ilwaco was listed for both the defensive and offensives lines.

Brennon Vance, a Kalama senior also made first team for wide receivers.

For the 1B team, Ethan Lindstrom a senior from Naselle, made first team quarterback and kicker. Lindstrom and Fa’aoso Tutu’u, senior, made the first team as linebackers. Joey Strange, sophomore, was also listed with his teammates as the first team defensive back.
