CLATSKANIE — The Clatskanie boys battled the entire night and forced overtime on 3-pointer at the buzzer, but they ultimately fell to Warrenton 41-38 in a Tuesday night basketball thriller.

Warrenton led by 4 with just 10 seconds left, but the Tigers battled back and tied it on Skylar Vocana’s shot from mid court as time expired. But at the end of overtime, Warrenton Senior Austin Little sank a double-clutch bank-shot trey of his own to seal the victory for Warrenton.

The Tigers trailed by as many as 9 at one point before muscling their way back with defense. But Clatskanie star post Dawson Evenson fouled out at the end of regulation, leaving the Tigers in a OT disadvantage.

Clatskanie Senior Sam Shockley led all scorers with 10 points. Warrenton’s Austin Little netted 13.

Triple double for Connor Rea

Powered by a triple double from Senior Connor Rea, The Rainier Columbians downed Taft Tuesday night and ended the season 8-0 in league play.

Rea had 24 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds in the 67-50 road win for the Columbians.
