Longview Goodwill honored two other community members at its first ever awards luncheon, held Tuesday at the Red Lion.

Jerry Hastings was named Achiever of the Year for his work as job developer with Goodwill's offender re-entry program. Hastings got his job at the nonprofit group after taking part in the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

Paula Livingstone, a Goodwill client through the Maximize Your Potential program, received the Graduate of the Year award. Livingstone had lost her job and her children because of an addiction to methamphetamine. She now has a steady job and has regained custody of her children.
