The hearing for public input on the methanol plant was window dressing. It was an attempt by the people in control of the final decision to show they are paying attention.

Their minds are made up. They know more than the public and are going to do exactly as they want, when they want. They believe they are lot smarter than us.

A full 100 percent of the public could be against this plant and it would still be built, if those in control want it.

But we had a public hearing. So what?

It could be a new-age asbestos plant with new technology, and they could make it sound like the best thing since sliced bread or cellphones.

That is what they do and they are pros at it. It is their job and they are not going to listen to you.

Sorry, but it is what it is and you don’t make those decisions. They do.
