It was disturbing to read in Sunday's (Feb. 2) Daily News that some of the homeless in the encampment were too crippled to make it to the porta potties.

Shouldn't they be in a nursing home? Wouldn't Medicaid pay? Or, is there another option? How do we fix this problem?
