Senior citizens can be crippled by the costs of prescription drugs.

For many people on a fixed income, skipping doses or not filling prescriptions is all too common.

Thankfully, our Congresswoman, Jaime Herrera Beutler, has been working to bring down costs for senior citizens. She just introduced a bipartisan bill, HR-19, the Lower Costs, More Cures Act. This bill wold cap how much seniors pay each year at the pharmacy and even makes insulin more affordable. Her efforts here cannot go unnoticed. Please join me in applauding her efforts to bring down the costs of medications.
