We lived close to Columbia Heights Elementary School and Cascade Junior High School when I was a kid.

This was during the height of the cold war. Hide under your desk, duck and cover. There was a story going around back then that there was a bomb shelter underneath Cascade Junior High. Was that true? If so what ever happened to it? Anyone know?
