Two northbound lanes of the Interstate Bridge coming from Portland will be closed overnight for repairs beginning Friday and lasting through the weekend.
The middle and right northbound lanes will close from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Work will be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The left northbound lane will stay open as crews repair the pavement and replace signs and lights.
The sidewalk and the northbound Jantzen Beach on-ramp will also be closed, as will the ramp from the bridge to eastbound State Route 14.
During the night of Aug. 24, all southbound lanes of the Interstate Bridge will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge work. The sidewalk will also be closed. Travelers heading south to Oregon in that time frame should take SR 14 east to Interstate 205 and the Glenn Jackson Bridge south into Oregon, according to ODOT.
