An all-you-can-eat spaghetti and garlic bread fundraiser on Aug. 3 will benefit the family of Kylee Jacobson, who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer one week before graduating from R.A. Long High School this spring.
The fundraiser will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Longview Salvation Army, located at 1639 10th Ave.
Tickets are $12 a person for people age 10 and older, according to a press release. There will be an auction for gift baskets and a raffle with $1 tickets.
All proceeds will benefit Jacobson and her family.
Jacobson, 18, was diagnosed with “CIC-DUX4 sarcoma” last month and has moved to Seattle to receive chemotherapy and radiation for the next 10 months. Her family has been raising money to pay for lodging while she gets treatment.
