Jeff Lindeman, 50, of Kelso, passed away June 30, 2019 in Castle Rock. Jeff was born June 3, 1969 to Richard and Patricia (Wilkerson) Lindeman. He was a lifelong local resident graduating from Kelso High School in 1987. Jeff served in the Army from 1988-1994 and was a Tactfire Operations Specialist. He also served several missions in the Gulf War. Jeff was a highly decorated veteran with medals including the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Leadership, Army Commendation Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, SW Asia Service Medal, 3 Bronze Stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal to name a few. Jeff was a Manufacturing Associate at Steelscape for 22 years.
Jeff enjoyed gardening, hiking with his wife and friends and road trips that always included his dogs. He was an avid outdoorsman whose passion was hunting. Jeff was either researching hunting, talking hunting or hunting. Jeff loved spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Jeff was a man of many talents, but his greatest gift was his gift of love. He was always willing to help anyone at any time. He led by example, which you can see in his children, and anyone who spent time with him became a better person.
Jeff married Holly Howard in 1987 and later divorced. On March 16, 2002, Jeff married the love of his life Vicki (Whitmire) Lindeman.
Survivors include his wife Vicki, Kelso; 4 sons Levi (Amanda) of Kelso, Kody (Heather) of Toutle Lake, CJ Reynolds (Kara) of Bucoda, Garrett (Jerica) of Castle Rock; daughter Kayle (John) Reynolds of Kelso; parents, Dick and Patricia Lindeman of Kelso; twin brother, Dick (Ginger) of Longview; brother, Tyson (Vanessa) of Kelso; grandchildren Zane, Landyn, Colton, Kynsi, Wyatt and another on the way; nieces and nephews, Michael, Mikaila, Presley, Payton and numerous extended family.
Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Lindeman; grandparents Roland and Betty Wilkerson, and Herbert and Genevieve Lindeman.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 13, 1 p.m at Rose Valley Friends Church with Dr. Galen Conrad officiating. A reception to follow at the LCC Student Center.
