Post offices nationwide will close Wednesday as part of the National Day of Mourning in honor of former President George H.W. Bush.
The U.S. Postal Service announced Monday that it will suspend regular mail delivery Wednesday. Some services will continue, including limited package delivery service to make sure the system is not clogged up during the holiday season.
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management announced that most federal government employees will be excused from work Wednesday. It did not specify which agencies are affected.
