Fraud — Woodland police received a call that a man tried to use fake $20 bills at a store in Woodland on Sunday.

Forgery, theft — Woodland police Sunday arrested Alexander Evan Guider, 27, of Tigard, Ore., on suspicion of forgery, third-degree theft and driving with a suspended license.

Theft, drugs — Longview police Sunday arrested Christine Marie Potts, 53, city of residence unknown, on suspicion of third-degree theft and a drug violation.

Burglary — Longview police Saturday arrested Melvin Juan Alvarez, 58, city of residence unknown, on suspicion of second-degree burglary and malicious mischief.

  • 100 block of Jones Road, Kelso. Saturday. Stolen prescription medication.
  • 1100 block of Hudson Street, Longview. Saturday. About $125 worth of items stolen from a store.
  • 1000 block of 15th Avenue, Longview. Saturday. Stolen motorized scooter.
  • 3300 block of Olympia Way, Longview. Sunday. Items stolen from an estate sale.

  • Burdick Place and Columbia Heights Road, Longview. Sunday. Someone in a silver Scion set off a firework in a mailbox.
  • 200 block of Leif Drive, Kelso. Sunday. Two vehicle mirrors and a license plate removed.
  • 2500 block of Nichols Boulevard, Longview. Sunday. Two men spray-painted graffiti onto the side of a building.
