A semi truck that jackknifed and blocked two lanes of Interstate 5 just north of Castle Rock Tuesday morning has been cleared, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Traffic flow has resumed to normal levels, said trooper Ryan Tanner.
Tanner said the accident occurred at about 10:40 a.m. when the northbound trucker tried to pass another truck. The driver lost control due to the wet roadway and struck a concrete barrier, causing the truck to jackknife.

The center and right lanes were blocked for several hours as the truck was moved and the state Department of Ecology cleaned up a small diesel spill, Tanner said.
There were no reported injuries and traffic was moving normally by Tuesday afternoon.
