Neighbors in Need, The Daily News’ holiday season drive to help feed the needy, has reached $13,192.
The drive kicked off on Thanksgiving Day and continues through New Year’s Day.
During the drive, TDN collects monetary donations and gives every penny to the Longview St. Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army.
The newspaper pays all administrative costs.
Neighbors in Need has raised more than $1.27 million since it began in 1987. Last year, the drive collected $59,504. This year’s goal is $60,000.
