Neighbors in Need, The Daily News’ holiday season drive to help feed the needy, has reached $2,044.
The fundraiser, which started Thanksgiving Day, benefits St. Vincent De Paul and the Longview Salvation Army. It runs through New Year’s Day and has raised $1.33 million since 1987. TDN covers all overhead and administrative costs, so every penny raised goes to the charities.
Donations can be made online or by sending a check or money order with the printed coupon or online.
This year’s NIN goal is $60,000.
