Neighbors in Need, The Daily News’ holiday season drive to help feed the needy, has reached $16,315.

The drive began on Thanksgiving and continues through New Year’s Day.

During the drive, TDN collects monetary donations and gives every penny to the Longview St. Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army.

The newspaper pays all administrative costs.

Neighbors in Need has raised more than $1.27 million since it began in 1987. Last year, the drive collected $59,504. This year’s goal is $60,000.

The latest donations:

$250: anonymous in appreciation of my children; and anonymous.

$200: John Bailey in memory of Russell Bailey, Christine Bailey Johnson, Willard Johnson, Lloyd and Elacine Moreland, and Dennis Gravelle; and Karen Franko in memory of my husband and parents.

$100: John E. Monahan.

$50: Jeri Jensen in memory of my parents and in-laws; and anonymous.
