The Longview Applebee's restaurant will donate 10 percent of each participating party's bill on Tuesday to the family of Cowlitz Sheriff's Deputy Justin DeRosier, the restaurant's parent company announced Wednesday.

Participation is available for dine-in orders only between 5 and 9 p.m. Applebee’s guests interested in contributing to the “Dining to Donate” program should tell their server when ordering, according to a press release.

The Applebee’s of Longview also will accept donations from guests Tuesday, with all guests who donate $5 receiving a card from Applebee’s entitling them to $5 off their next visit.

The restaurant is located in the Triangle Center.

DeRosier, 29, died in a line-of-duty shooting on April 13. He leaves a wife and five-month-old daughter.
