The Kelso School District Wednesday night hosted a “virtual tour” of the two elementary schools it will build as part of a $98.6 million bond measure.
Community members gathered in the Kelso High School auditorium to watch an animated walk-through and flyover of the Wallace and Lexington elementary schools.
The tour showcased the most recent designs for the buildings. Two short video clips depicting the outside of each building are attached to this story at TDN.com.
With the bond voters approved in February 2017, the district is building a new Wallace Elementary School and replacing Catlin and Beacon Hill elementaries with a 950-student school in Lexington. Construction on Wallace is slated to begin in May, while the Lexington project will start later this summer.
