Former Fibre Federal Credit Union CEO Larry Hoff is throwing his hat in the ring. On Thursday, Hoff announced he is running for the state House of Representatives District 18 seat currently held by Rep. Liz Pike (R-Camas).
Hoff, a U.S. Navy veteran, grew up in North Dakota. After leaving the military, he graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in accounting.
In 2016, Hoff was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from his industry peers on behalf of the Northwest Credit Union Association.
“I’ve been serving individuals and small businesses all of my professional career and am excited to bring my leadership, problem solving skills and collaborative nature to the legislature in order to continue serving and making a positive impact on our community,” Hoff said in a press release issued Thursday.
