Columbia County Rider will lower ridership prices and streamline its pricing system starting in March, according to a press release.
Beginning March 1, CC Rider will no longer use a zone system, but will instead charge $2 for an in-county single ride ticket and $3 for an out-of-county single ride ticket. Both Longview and Kelso will be considered "in-county."
Under the new pricing system, CC Rider will no long offer transfers, and will offer just one monthly pass for $120. Passes go on sale Feb. 17.

However, a reduced fare program will still be available for elderly, disabled, student, veteran and low-income customers.
"These adjustments will help to streamline the system and make it easier to determine how much your fare will be," the press release said.
