About 225 cats from all over the Pacific Northwest gathered at the Cowlitz County Expo Center in Longview on Saturday for the annual Cat Fanciers’ Association show, organized by the McKenzie River and Puget Sound cat clubs.

The cat show was a chance for breeders to compete for the best titles in the kitten, championship, premiership and household pet categories.

The event continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 1900 Seventh Ave., Longview. Tickets are $4 each or $10 for a family. Children younger than 5 are free.
