Big job fair planned in Woodland Thursday

About 40 employers will gather for a job fair in Woodland Thursday to present workshops and search for about 200 workers.

Representatives from the Cowlitz Tribe’s Ilani casino and resort will be present. Other companies and agencies represented include Emerald Performance Materials, Community Home Care & Hospice, Lower Columbia CAP, Best Western, Comcast, H&R Block, Woodland Public Schools and Lower Columbia College, among others.

Hosted by Goodwill Industries, the job fair will take place from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at 1500 Dike Access Road in Woodland.

There will be a free shuttle service to job fair to provide rides from Kelso and Longview to the Woodland.

The shuttle service has stops at the Longview Transit Center, Kelso Train Depot and Woodland Highschool. For details on shuttle times and registration call (360) 501-8340 or woodlandjobfair2016.eventbrite.com. You can pre-register online or register at the door.
