Kalama grad receives title
Keianna Patterson, 18, of Kalama and a graduate of Kalama High School, recently was named Miss ProWest 2020.
Her reign begins in January. She will travel throughout the Northwest including in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and parts of Canada as an ambassador for the ProWest Rodeo Association.
She will visit some school, attend some community events and also attend numerous rodeos.
Patterson’s mantra for the year is to “be the good,” noting a quote by Maya Angelou, “Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud,” and urging people to do random acts of kindness.
