Nov. 14: Columbia City Hike (easy); drive 60 miles round trip, hike 1.8 miles on a forested trail at the south end of Columbia City in a country reserve on the banks of the Columbia River; wander the historic sties of Columbia City including a Daughters of the American Revolution museum and the Stand on the riverfront for an additional 2-plus miles; Dana: 503-397-3429; Art: 360-425-3140.
Nov. 17: Gales Creek (moderate/strenuous); drive 140 miles round trip, hike 9 miles round trip with 900 foot elevation gain along scenic Gales Creek inside the Tillamook Burn; shorter hikes available; Bruce: 360-425-0256.

Nov. 24: Siouxon Creek (moderate); drive 110 miles round trip, hike 8 miles round trip with 800 foot elevation gain along beautiful stream with scenic waterfalls; Belinda: 360-577-4218.
