The Longview-Kelso Community Concert Association and Live On Stage Inc. present the The Gothard Sisters at 3 p.m. Nov 18 in the Rose Center for The Arts at Lower Columbia College, 1600 Maple St., Longview.
The sisters will “deliver their award-winning, high-energy display of Irish fiddling, singing and dancing,” according to a press release.
The sisters have been performing, touring and writing music together for 10 years.
Their latest all-original album, Midnigh Sun, reached No. 6 on the Billboard World Music charts as the highest ranking debut on the chart, note the press release.
The Gothard Sisters have performed at small and large venues including a concert at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium stage in Washington, D.C.; with the Disney Cruise line in Europe; at music festivals; and performing arts venues nationwide, notes the release.
The Longview-Kelso Community Concert Association has been presenting nationally acclaimed artists to the community since 1937. The all-volunteer non-profit board is committed to enriching the cultural life of the Longview-Kelso area through live performances, according to the release.
