Judy (DeLaGrange) Warren, 68, of Longview died Nov. 5, 2013.
She was born Aug. 15, 1945, in Longview. She attended Mark Morris High School, Tillamook (Ore.) High School and Lower Columbia College.
Judy had a 23-year career with Lower Columbia Mental Health. First and foremost, she was an amazing mother to her three daughters, raising them on her own. She had a lifelong love of Arabian horses, specifically her beloved Honey, Moon and Kossaka. Judy also loved music, singing and her cat, Bella. She was incredibly artistic and wickedly funny. She could always make you laugh. Her insight was often frighteningly accurate.
Judy was preceded in death by her loving father, Donald R. DeLaGrange.
She is survived by her mother, Billie DeLaGrange of Cathlamet; three daughters, Billie Rantala, Janelle Taylor and Libby (Warren) Ferriss, all of Longview; a son-in-law, Jason Ferriss of Longview; two grandchildren, Dove (Rantala) Bartolus of Tumwater, Wash., and Mason Hall of Longview; two sisters, Becky DeLaGrange of Cathlamet and Julie Ridgeway of Ellensburg, Wash.; a brother, Matthew DeLaGrange of Longview; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Judy was a joy and light to her family and will be unimaginably missed.
Family and friends will gather for music and memories during a celebration of Judy’s life from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Longview Moose Lodge, 921 Washington Way.
Arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
