It is with great sadness the family of Thamer Velore Chambers, age 79, announce her passing on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018. Thamer passed peacefully after a long battle with COPD.

Thamer was the first born of Olive May Boyer and Richard Dixie on Jan. 15, 1939.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Chambers; a daughter, Tammy Jorgenson (Michael Cornwell); a son, Clint Jorgenson (Whitney) and the Chi Girls; a grandson, Skyler Gemar (Lisa); and two great-granddaughters, Kylie Paige and Cora Chase; and a granddaughter, Ariel Gemar. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Joey Gemar.

Thamer was a unique and loving woman with a myriad of interests. She was an artist and many of her creative works are enjoyed in the homes of family and friends. She was a great athlete and enjoyed snow skiing, golf and water volleyball. She loved fishing alongside her husband, and they shared their time between homes in Alaska, California and Kelso.

She will forever be remembered for her inimitable way of making people laugh as well as her very generous spirit. Thamer touched many lives in her years here on earth and we know for certain she will continue doing so in the next life.

A celebration of her life is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 27305 Sandridge Road, Ocean Park, WA 98640.
