Sondra L. Napier Marshall

Sondra Lee Napier Marshall, 74, of Kelso passed away March 28, 2017, at home.
She was born July 23, 1942, in Long Beach, Wash., to Willard and Vera (Souvignier) Logus. She lived in Portland, California and Amboy before moving to Kelso 20 years ago.
Sondra was a successful business owner, known to many as “The Ear Fairy.” Sondra was generous and active in the betterment of the community and its blue collar workers. People often referred to her as eccentric, one-of-a-kind, charismatic, outspoken and funny. She enjoyed DIY projects large and small, antique restoration, cooking and fine cuisine. She loved spending time with her dogs, Tika and Maggie, aka “The Girls.”
She married Gary Marshall March 10, 2000. He preceded her in death April 16, 2014.
Sondra is survived by a brother, Bill Byrne (Laura) of Ilwaco, Wash.; two daughters, Leah O’Brien of Hermiston, Ore., and Sonja Cardenas (Victor) of Kelso; a son, Raymond Napier (Megan) of Castle Rock; seven grandchildren, Amy, Allysia and Bobby, all in Hermiston, and Daniela, Rebecca, Mauricio and Elena, all in Kelso; four great-grandchildren, Braylon, Madisyn, Easton and Harper, all in Hermiston; two nephews, Adam and Ryan, both in Ilwaco; and “The Girls.”
A memorial service, including a potluck, is planned for 3 p.m. today at Rose Valley Friends Church.
