Robert T. Collier ‘Bob’, 79, passed away August 3, 2017 in his home at The Villager. He was born July 22, 1938 to Bejamin Franklin and Hattie Beatrice (Maughan) Collier in Longview. Bob graduated from Winlock High School in 1956. After graduating, he went to work for Longview Fibre in the Rail Division as a foreman and retired after working 44 years.
Bob was a member of Central Christian Church in Kelso and now is at home with our Heavenly Father. Bob enjoyed doing puzzles and he looked forward to his Sunday walks around Lake Sacajawea with his children.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Don) Dunaway of Castle Rock, Karen (Mike) Dunbar of Longview; his son, Robert T. (Chere’) Collier II of Warrenton, OR; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tina Byrnes and son, David Collier.
A graveside gathering will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 7 at the Steele Cemetery in Longview.
