Melissa Anne Dalsing, 50, of Vancouver, WA passed away April 15, 2019 in Vancouver. She was born February 6, 1969 in Longview, to Bernard and Helen (Buschman) Dalsing.
Melissa attended Kalama High School, and Electrician’s School. Her memberships included 4-H and the IBEW. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking, fostering dogs, and spending time with family and friends. Melissa had an infectious laugh and smile with a candid sense of humor. She was fiercely independent and always willing to lend a hand when needed. She loved animals, especially dogs. She had an appreciation for the outdoors, family and friends. She was married to John Fanning and they later divorced.

Survivors include 4 sisters, Bernita Kantner of Vancouver, Barbara Rogen of Longview, Donna Compher of Bucoda and Jennifer Rolf of Woodland; and a brother, Leon Dalsing of Longview.
Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Gary and Robert Dalsing.
A memorial service will be held August 4, 2019, from 2pm-6pm at Heritage Event Center, 7982 Lewis River Rd, Ariel, WA 98603.
