Jodie M. Sides, 24, of Castle Rock lost her battle with epilepsy Aug. 4, 2018, at home.
A celebration of Jodie’s life is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at Steele Chapel. Family friend Rick Ensign will officiate.
Jodie was born Jan. 13, 1994, in Casper, Wyo., with her twin sister, Jennie who wrote: Jodie brought so much light to those around her. She lived, she laughed and she loved, she was always a ray of sunshine. Jodie maintained an upbeat and positive attitude throughout her battle with epilepsy. She always looked to the future.
Jodie graduated from Toutle Lake High School in 2012. She enjoyed shopping, casinos, and hunting with her dad.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Amy (Minaker) Sides; her twin sister, Jennie Sides; three brothers, Cody Sides (Niesha), Preston Ward (Tirzah), and Tyler Ward (Amanda); her grandparents, Maxine Sides, Lucie Camfield, Jim Minaker (Kelly), and Travis McGhee; her great-grandmothers, Peggy Parcel and Norma Kay Minaker; her half-siblings, Krystal Moulton and Michael Stembridge; her boyfriend, Jesse Banks; many friends, including Abbot and Jenny Amos; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lifeworks or the Epilepsy Foundation.
