Feb. 11, 1976 — Nov. 9, 2018
Jeff passed away Nov. 9, 2018, at St. John Medical Center after succumbing to a sudden illness.
He was born in Portland and was a lifelong resident of Longview. Jeff attended Longview schools and graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1995. He loved working with kids and proudly volunteered at Lower Columbia College’s Head Start Program for many years. Jeff’s favorite pastimes were going to movies, playing horseshoes, bowling, and playing games on his Kindle. He loved music, comic books and his Kindle and never traveled without his current favorites.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Gary and Linda; a brother, Matt; a large extended family; and many friends whom he loved very much.
Jeff lived as an example of what most of us intend but few actually achieve. Though very aware of his cerebral palsy, he chose to not let it affect him negatively. He was not troubled with the faults of humankind. Jeff truly loved his family and friends unconditionally and was the most positive and cheerful person. He carried a gentle kindness and could light up a room at any moment with his laugh and smile. Jeff’s thoughtful sweetness touched many lives. He will be remembered and dearly missed.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be announced at a later date.
