Jane Ellen Brunk, renowned for her intellect, winning smile and beautiful quilts, passed away at her Toutle residence on June 4, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Alan C. Brunk, a retired educator and artist; her son, Michael Scriber, a micro-electrical engineer; her daughter, Vicki Howard, a published author; her grandson, Adam Scriber, an aeronautical engineer; her granddaughter, Chelsea Scriber, a Christian missionary; grandson, Eric Howard, a builder; granddaughter Jessica Chittamai, a lieutenant in the Garland, TX, police department; granddaughter Kristen Howard, college student; and four great-grandchildren. A special note about Adam Scriber: During the week of 17 of June, he was in Washington, D.C. to be honored with a national award for his re-design of the F-16 fighter jet. Jane’s funeral will be at 11 a.m., July 20, at the Toutle Christian Fellowship Church in Toutle, WA. Burial will be private with family only.
