Jimmy passed away at the age of 72 at home in Woodland, WA, of a heart attack. Jimmy retired from Weyerhaeuser pulp mill in Longview, WA. He lived in Woodland most of his life, graduating from Woodland High School. He was in the Army for four years and spent time in Vietnam. Jimmy was a devout Christian and spent many hours at the church helping in any way he could, especially with the youth group. Jimmy was the church cookie baker. He baked cookies for all occasions and then some. Jimmy is survived by his sons Douglas (Nikki) and Robert; brothers Jerry (Patty), Arnie (Carole); and sister Jean (Jay) Shaw; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marty, mother Lorraine Osborne and stepfather Ozzie Osborne, sister Diane Frederickson, brother Roger Turner and granddaughter Samantha Turner.

A memorial service is being held April 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant View Community Church, 14756 Lewis River Rd, Ariel, WA, 98603. In remembrance of Jimmy, donations can be made to the Pleasant View Community Church youth group.
