Doreen Jane Lovingfoss, 82, of Kelso, WA, died June 15, 2019, at home. She was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Longview, WA, to Lois and Bud Williams and her stepfather, Glen Chenoweth. Doreen graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1955, where she was a homecoming queen. Doreen worked as a ceramics painting instructor, a restaurant owner in Bellingham and at NCS as a collection manager for 20 years. Doreen also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul. She took pride in the things she chose to do and loved holiday decorating, coaching baseball, pitching softball, traveling, gaming and gardening. Doreen was a loving mother and very proud of her seven sons.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Lyle (Sharon), Jeff (Patty), Craig (Thelma), Brian (Gayle), Scott (Diana), Eric (Dawn) and Phillip (Ginger); her brother Dennis Williams; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Doreen was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a caring person and a very hard worker. She is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Harris, and a brother, Mike Chenoweth.
A hosted celebration of life will be held at 4839 Pleasant Hill Road, Kelso, WA, on Sunday, July 14, from 3-7 p.m.
