Donald Luverne Graham, 85, of Longview passed away Nov. 29, 2017, at home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Carrington, N.D., to Donald J. and Anna (Ferguson) Graham. Donald moved to the local area in 1950. He served four years in the Army during the Korean War. Donald attended Lower Columbia College and Washington State University.
Donald retired as a quality control supervisor from Longview Fibre in 1989. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was a Cub Scout leader for a few years. Donald enjoyed camping at Cowlitz Timber Trails, camping and fishing in Cougar, backpacking, and traveling to Canada, Mexico and all over the U.S., including Hawaii. He was a warm, loving and gentle soul.
He married Elaine Pierce in Longview on Jan. 20, 1957. He is survived by his wife of 60 years at home; three sons, Eldon Graham (Mo) of Santa Barbara, Calif., Wallace Graham (Pam) of Kelso, and Glenn Graham (Jenny) of Longview; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
At his request, no service will be held.
