Dale Ann Heflin, 70, of Longview passed away Sept. 3, 2018, at home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Oakdale, Calif., to Henry “Son” and Leata (Keene) Jump. Dale attended Delena Grade School and Rainier High School.
She made many friends working as a bartender and meat wrapper. Dale enjoyed needlepoint, cooking shows (She was a great cook) and antiques. She was happy, easy-going, and always smiling.
Dale is survived by three brothers, Thomas (Anna) in Gold Canyon, Ariz., and Frank (Esther), and Robert (Deborah), both in Longview; two children, Charles Brissett and Tracy Heflin; five stepchildren, Beverly Skinner, Tina Pierrepont, Valerie DuBois, Jeffrey Heflin, and Jennifer Wilson; four grandchildren, Devyn Heflin, Trevor Heflin, Travis Heflin and Kevyn Bonnell who were the loves of her life; and several stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Brenda Brown and Janet Hicks.
A celebration of Dale’s life is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Alston Pub and Grub (Old JD’s Tavern) in Rainier. Children are welcome.
