Cheryl Ann Chambers, 55, of Longview passed away Feb. 8, 2018, at the Hospice Care Center.
She was born Oct. 15, 1962, in Longview, to Glenmore and Lois (Reynolds) Truluck. Cheryl graduated from Kelso High School in 1980 and earned a bachelor’s degree at Evergreen State in 2015.
In March of 1980, Cheryl married Allan McCauley. They had three children and later divorced. In 2001, she married Steve Chambers. They also divorced.
Cheryl worked as a real estate agent, title officer and volunteered for Side Walk in Olympia. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her two prized Pomeranians, Princess and Moe. She adored her grandchildren. She also enjoyed canning, gardening, and making sure “her” squirrels had enough to eat. Cheryl was outgoing, fun-loving, caring and a joy to be around. She always had a smile.
Cheryl is survived by her companion, Tom Teeters of Olympia; three children, Bradley McCauley (Danielle) of Kelso, Tiffany Starnes of Vancouver and Jason McCauley of Longview; two siblings, Randy Truluck (Angela) of Sparta, Ill., and Becky Morton (Carl) of Silver Lake; seven grandchildren, Kaylee Chapin, Amellia McCauley, Braeden McCauley and Owen McCauley, all of Kelso, and Maddie Starnes, Bella Starnes and Avery Starnes, all of Vancouver.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Charley and Marie Reynolds, and Ed and Effie Truluck; a sister, Susan Truluck; and a son-in-law, Nic Starnes.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday in the Toutle Lake High School Multi-purpose Room.
