Bobby Judson Anderson, age 84, passed away on Sept. 22, 2019, at Community Home Health & Hospice in Longview, WA. Bobby was born in Flanklin, NC, to Fred and Pairlee Anderson. He moved from North Carolina to Washington in 1957 and lived here for 61 years. Bobby worked in the lumber industry and retired from Northwest Hardware Company as a millwright. Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always an outdoors person and enjoyed gardening with his wife Effie. Later, when Gage was born, Bobby enjoyed playing outside with him, picking green beans and weeds. In the evening, Bobby would love to sit on the back patio and watch the birds, listening to the different wildlife. Later in life, he enjoyed doing puzzles and listening to old time country music.

On Dec. 19, 1959, Bobby married Effie Mae (Cable) Anderson. He is survived by his daughters Teresa (Roger) Hefley, of Longview, and Lisa Moyer, of Longview, WA; son Russell Anderson, of Longview, WA; grandson Gage Stout, of Longview, WA; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, five sisters and two brothers. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Anderson, parents, brother and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 11, 2019, at Steele Chapel. Finger food and refreshments will be served after the service.
