Starting with Mickey Mouse in 1978, several fictional characters have been honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The most recent addition was Mickey's counterpart, Minnie Mouse, who on Jan. 22, 2018 received her own official star on Hollywood Boulevard. Here's a look at every fictional character who has been given a star on the famous walkway:
Mickey Mouse

Date added: November 13, 1978
Location: 6925 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For his role in animated films. Dedicated on his 50th Anniversary.
Mickey Mouse, the cartoon character created by Walt Disney, became the 1700th star, and first animated personality, to have his star placed on Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 13, 1978. Minnie Mouse joined Mickey on ceremonies in front of Mann’s, formerly Grauman’s, Chinese Theater. Event was one of many that will kick off a nationwide tour for Mickey, celebrating his 50th birthday, as well as the 75th anniversary of Hollywood.
Bugs Bunny

Reason: For his role in Looney Tunes short films.
Snow White

Date added: June 28, 1987
Location: 6920 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For her role in the first feature-length Disney animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Woody Woodpecker

Date added: September 13, 1990
Location: 7000 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For his role in his animated films.
Woody Woodpecker appeared with his 90-year-old creator, Walter Lantz, when the animated bird was honored with the 1,918th star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood Sept.13, 1990. The presentation also marked Woody's 50th birthday.
Big Bird

Date added: April 21, 1994
Location: 7021 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For his role on the children television show, Sesame Street.
The Simpsons

Date added: January 14, 2000
Location: 7021 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For their 10th anniversary on their television show, The Simpsons.
"The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening is joined by the actors portraying the show's characters in Los Angeles Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, as the longest-running primetime animated series in history was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Between Lisa and Marge at rear is James L. Brooks, one of the developers of the show.
Rugrats

Date added: June 28, 2001
Location: 6600 Hollywood Blvd.
Reason: For their 10th anniversary on their television show, Rugrats.

Winnie the Pooh

Reason: For his role in his animated films.

The Munchkins

Reason: For their role in The Wizard of Oz.
