A two-car crash and disabled car backed up traffic at the Lewis and Clark Bridge during Wednesday's evening commute, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The backup began at about 5 p.m. when a northbound car stalled on the Oregon side of the bridge, WSP spokesman Will Finn said. That may have caused another crash, minutes later, between two vehicles also blocking the northbound lane, Finn said.

Finn said the scene was expected to be clearly shortly, but troopers were having trouble reaching the bridge due to the traffic backups.
