Rodman & Diamond

Rene’ Elizabeth Rodman and Burt Lee Diamond were
joined in marriage August 25th, 2018.
A traditional ceremony, conducted by Pastor Phil Rushton, took
place on a beautiful summer day filled with love and nostalgia
at Longview Community Church. The bride wore a Pronovias
mermaid gown of crepe with a beaded bodice and carried a
bouquet of white and blush blooms with silver foliage.
Renee’ Coker served as Matron of Honor and Nick Diamond
stood as Best Man. Other attendees included Deborah
Tossberg & John Coker, Tricia & Mike Rodman, Rebecca
Cooper & Jon Rodman, Janet Haley & David Rodman.
The Flower Girl was Ava Rodman and Ring Bearer was
Preston Rodman. The Candle Lighters were Aunika
Rodman, Zoie Rodman and Chayton Rodman. A
reception followed at the Longview Country Club.
Rene’ is the daughter of Tess Skach and Don &
Pat Rodman. She was raised in Longview, attended
the University of California, Santa Barbara living
in California since 1988 working in healthcare
technology sales and involved in several San
Francisco/Bay Area community organizations. Her
married name is Rene’ Rodman Diamond.
Burt is the son of John Diamond and Emily Taylor.
Originally from Stockton, California, he attended the
University of Phoenix, worked for Teamsters, Local
70,10 years and served 21 years in the US Army, retiring
as a Sergeant, First Class. Burt is currently working as a
Longshoreman at ILWU, Local 10 in San Francisco/Oakland.
The couple have made their home in Sausalito, California
and plan to have a honeymoon in the South Pacific islands
(Fiji, Tahiti, Cook, Bora Bora and Tonga) by 2020.
