A writer on April 5 (Prioritized) employs extremely twisted logic.

Yes, the constitution recognizes our inalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. But to conclude that to protect those rights the government has an obligation to provide the means to secure those rights is bizarre. If you subscribe to that logic it would be normal for you to quit your job and ask the government to fund your pursuit of happiness. (Whatever that may be.) The government should then also provide you with sustenance since you wouold no longer have an income to feed yourself. Finally the right to liberty means no person should be incarcerated and the government has an obligation to provide the means for all prisoners to be released.

It just shows how the meaning of words can really be perverted.
