Anyone with information regarding this stolen excavator is encouraging to call the sheriff's office at 360-577-3092 and ask for Deputy Aguilar. Reference case A17-593.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from anyone who may have information about the theft of a $40,000 excavator stolen from a Kelso business late Friday night or early Saturday morning.

According to a press release, the theft occurred at Spencer's Trucking and Excavating, 2780 Pacific Ave. The suspects also shot out the lights at the site.

The unit is a Kubota model KX121-3 "Super Series" and has the name and phone number of the business on it in blue and white writing. The unit also has rubber tracks and a bucket equipped with a "thumb." 

Anyone who has information on this case is encouraged to call the sheriff's office and ask to leave a message for Deputy Aguilar. Callers can reference this case as A17-593.

People can also leave tips anonymously using their smart phones and an application called TIP411 and make the text attention to the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office. Tips sent this way are completely anonymous: the phone number and identity of the reporter are never provided to the agency.
