The following enrichment classes are sponsored by the Longview Parks and Recreation Department. Registration is accepted weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Parks and Rec office, 2920 Douglas St., Longview; or online at www.mylongview.com/reconline.

The Boulevard Teen Program - 3-8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 3-6 p.m. Fridays, 2121 Kessler Blvd., Longview; this program is a safe, supervised, drug-, tobacco- and alcohol-free drop-in program for Longview middle and high school students that offers pool tables, air hockey, X-box 360, Wii, secure high-speed Internet accessible computer lab, movies, snacks, and much more; a fun activity is planned each day; student ID is required; call 442-5400 for more information.

Incorporating: Can You Get Asset Protection and Tax Relief? - 6:30-9:30 p.m. March 24 and 31; age 18 and older; learn about corporations, LLC, LLP, General and Limited Partnerships; discussion on why and how to start, assets to protect, taxes, forms, personal liability and incorporating in Washington and other states; class provides knowledge, not legal advice; instructor Don Same; $31 in-city residents, $36 out-of-city residents; register for session 93295.

Starting Seeds - 6-8 p.m. March 24, Recreation building, 2920 Douglas St., Longview; learn basics of starting seeds for vegetable garden; soil mediums, light and heat requirements, hardening off, greenhouse options and more will be discussed; instructor Tom Karasek; $10 in-city residents, $15 out-of-city residents; register for session 91345.

Beginning Guitar - 4-5 p.m. Thursdays, March 25-April 22, McClelland Center, 951 Delaware St.; ages 8-12; learn new songs, skills and have fun playing the guitar; learn single strings, basic cords and strum patterns; bring a guitar if available; instructor Bill Price; $35 in-city residents, $40 out-of-city residents; register for session 90546.

Spring Break Adventures - 8 am.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, March 29-April 1; meet at Elks building, 2121 Kessler Blvd.; ages 12-18; different trip each day, including Long Beach, Multnomah Falls/Bonneville Dam, Clackamas Town Center and watching the movie "Twilight" and visiting St. Helens (Ore.) sites where some of the movie was filmed; $100 in-city residents, $105 out-of-city residents; register for session 92245.

Spring Break Day Camp - 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 29-April 2, Kessler Elementary School, 1902 E. Teen Day Ski Trip to Mount Hood Meadows - 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. April 3, meet at City Hall, 1525 Broadway, Longview; for ages 12-18 (youth groups and ski clubs also welcome to participate); spend all day at Mount Hood Meadows in Oregon for skiing, snowboarding or tubing; $70 for in-city residents, $75 for out-of-city residents; package covers transportation, lift ticket and staffing; any rental packages need to be purchased at the resort; register for session 92995.

Teen Creative After School Snack Recipes - 5-6 p.m. Tuesdays, April 6-27, Monticello Middle School Home Ec room, 1225 28th Ave., Longview; ages 11-18; teens will learn creative, easy-to-make, healthy snacks they can prepare in minutes when they get home from school; participants will take home recipes and samples every day; $30 in-city residents, $35 out-of-city residents; register for session 91845.
