A joint effort between the Longview Police Street Crimes Unit and the state Department of Corrections this week led to four arrests Thursday.
Search warrants were served at 700 S. Ninth Avenue, Apt. A, and 800 Burcham Street in Kelso and 3342 Olive Way in Longview. The search warrants were not connected to one another and each warrant was a separate investigation, according to a press release issued Thursday evening.
Officers recovered a firearm, heroin, methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales and other drug paraphernalia during the searches, the press release said.
Arrested in the Ninth Avenue search was Mandy Lynn Clark, 35, on suspicion of possession of heroin and possession of a controlled substance and Maria Lydia Saenz, 49, on suspicion of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and a felony warrant
Michael David Patching Sr., 49, was arrested during at the Burcham Street location on suspicion of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm
Thomas Leroy Wakefield, 53, was arrested at the Olive Way search on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.
